Director, Producer, & Hotel Guest 1Miyoni is a Bay Area–based director, actress, and storyteller committed to creating emotionally honest, transformative cinema. With roots in performance from an early age, her artistic journey began in front of the camera, where she developed a deep sensitivity to character, vulnerability, and human complexity. That foundation now informs her work as a director, where she brings a nuanced, authentic approach to storytelling.
Her directorial voice is grounded in themes of healing, identity, and self-discovery, often exploring the inner worlds of women navigating trauma, growth, and personal truth. She is the director of Encrypted, Tethered, and most recently Too Done, an SFAC grant-winning film that serves as a poignant, intentional letter to survivors of abuse and neglect—balancing moments of lightness with the quiet weight of emotional reality.
With multiple projects in development, Miyoni continues to build a body of work that is both intimate and expansive. Stories designed not just to be watched but felt.

Writer, Executive Producer, Producer, & Flamenco DancerMaría fuses her 20+ years as a scientist and public health advocate with her love of storytelling to write and produce screenplays delving in social justice, women themes, and science/public health. Born in Wisconsin to Spanish parents, raised between California and Spain, in Madrid she lived Spain’s transition to democracy, was a racetrack jockey, and obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from Universidad Complutense, Madrid. She later moved to California, earning an MS in Marine Sciences at the University of California (UC), Santa Cruz. María worked for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, California, and Fish and Wildlife Service in Alaska, and for Navarra’s Environmental Department, Spain. She obtained a PhD in Genetics at the University of Georgia, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow and associate specialist at UC Davis and UC Berkeley.
María is published in peer-reviewed science journals and KQED/NPR, dances flamenco semiprofessionally, and is the creator and producer of Film Forum Be SCENE (with motto “seeing the unseen”) and Flamenco Series Baobab Flamenco. She has several projects in development, among them her feature script Let Me Be You, recipient of 30 accolades and ranking in Coverfly’s top 1%. Her short film Too Done, in post-production, is a Stowe Story Labs project; its script has obtained 17 accolades—including an Arts Impact Endowment Grant 2025 from the San Francisco Arts Commission—and has placed on Coverfly’s Red List. María strives to continue collaborating with enthused filmmakers to bring stories to life that will help better our present and our future.

Producer & Miss PrissyKaterina is an actress, producer, and writer. Film acting credits include the HBO Film The Great Lillian Hall; Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World; Both Eyes Open (Starz); I Will Never Leave You Alone (Shudder), and My Nanny Stole My Life (Lifetime), among others. TV credits include episodes on Fox, CBS, and Netflix shows. Her short film The Unbearing, which she wrote, produced, and starred in had its world premiere at Screamfest, has been at international and Oscar- Qualifying festivals and won Best International Short Film at FanCine de Lemos among other nominations.
As a producer, she has recently wrapped production on the short film Call & Response (winner of the PAGE Gold Prize) written and directed by Charlene Fisk and Too Done (San Francisco Art Commission Grant Recipient) written by María Sánchez and directed by Miyoni Nelson, which she also acted in.
Katerina is signed with the Stewart Talent Agency (NYC & ATL) and Advanced Management (LA). Katerina is a dual citizen in the US and Switzerland. She received her BFA in drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Katerina also serves as Deputy Director / Director of Admissions and Enrollment for Stowe Story Labs, which is dedicated to helping top emerging screenwriters and filmmakers get work made and seen.
Producer & Hotel Guest 2Kealani is a Bay Area– and Los Angeles– based filmmaker, producer, and actor focused on intimate, character-driven stories that bridge cultures and perspectives. Through her company, Tiny Rabbit Productions, founded in 2017, she has developed and produced 20+ short films and wrapped her second feature in May 2025. Her work explores themes of family, identity, and belonging, with a commitment to elevating underrepresented voices in independent cinema, and she has also starred as a lead actor in feature film, Kintsukuroi, bringing a performer’s insight to her work behind the camera.

Director of Photography & ColoristAlex is a cinematographer whose visual storytelling is shaped by his Nigerian and Mexican heritage. With a background in lighting, he has a deep understanding of atmosphere and composition, bringing both technical precision and emotional depth to his work. He has collaborated with brands like Leica, SoFi, and The New York Times, crafting striking visuals across commercial and narrative projects. Alex values collaboration, authenticity, and community, believing that the best images come from a thoughtful, inclusive approach to filmmaking.
EditorNeil Davis is an award winning writer and editor. He also directs music videos and short films. He enjoys good storytelling, communicating through imagery and emotions, windbreakers, and people watching. B.A. Cinema, San Francisco State University, 2015.
Production DesignerYasmine Anastasia is a California multidisciplinary artist who works across sculpture, social practice, installation, and film. Her personal work explores trauma, identity and connection, creating participatory spaces where strangers and communities can engage with each other intimately. She has curated work for two shows at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum and continues to develop projects that center around collective care and healing. With over 6 years of experience as a Production Designer she thrives collaborating and creating intimate, unique worlds.
She received her undergraduate in Studio Art with a minor in Cinema from San Francisco State University.

1st Assistant Director & FredRonan is a Los Angeles based filmmaker whose leadership on set is grounded in clarity, creativity, and calm. He earned his PhD in Human Evolutionary Ecology and Health from Stanford University. Ronan is known for bringing a thoughtful, organized energy to set, whether negotiating scene logistics or coordinating with directors and department heads. His unique combination of analytical training and filmmaking dedication helps turn vision into actuality from prep through wrap.
Dedicated SongwriterKatiana Vilá is a Bay Area vocalist, percussionist, songwriter, and producer whose music lives at the crossroads of rhythm and emotion. Rooted in Afro-Latin and Spanish grooves, her work blends intricate percussion with heartfelt songwriting and soaring harmonies. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, Vilá continues to collaborate with diverse ensembles across the Bay, shaping a sound that is both grounded and exploratory. Her songwriting captures the interplay between rhythm and narrative, offering a nuanced reflection of voice, identity, and emotion.
Consulting ProducerMaria Victoria Ponce was born in her grandmother’s dirt-floored kitchen in rural Michoacan, Mexico. Ponce’s work navigates the complexities in the routine lives within poor and working-class neighborhoods: themes of immigration, sexuality, and coming of age tend to recur. Through film, she aims to highlight the breadth and depth of the Latine experience in the Bay Area. Ponce is a fellow at Sundance/WIF Financing Intensive, Film Independent Fast Track and an artist resident at SFFILM FilmHouse. She was a finalist for Tribeca/AT&T Untold Stories. She received grants from SFFILM Rainin, PBS – The Latino Experience and The Berkeley Film Foundation. Most recently she was named the Rainin Fellow in Film through the Kenneth Rainin Foundation and the LPB Digital Media Fund 2024.
Ponce was the Femme Frontera Film Lab Artist Development Manager: La Frontera Film Lab 2021-2024, a Justice for My Sister Collective BIPOC Sci-Fi Lab mentor, and a Brown Girls Doc Mafia Mastermind Program facilitator. She has given talks and workshops at SFFILM, Watsonville Film Festival and Women in Media UCSB.
